changing second profs
Just need to ask some questions
I'm currently ascended on my W/Mo and I'm interested in changing my second professions to E or Me. I know where to go for it but my questions are, If I don't like the new prof, Would I be able to change back to Mo? If so then will i have to revisit the npc every single time to change it? How many seconds profs could i change it to? Would I also have to BUY every skill? Or simply run around prophecies doing quests or something? How would I get the skills for the new prof? |

Yes, you can change back to /Mo after picking up a new secondary.
No, you do not need to repeat the quest to get a secondary you've already gotten. |

Once you've learn a new secondary profession you cant unlearn it.
In the Skill Pane (K key), you'll see that where you profession/secondary profession is, its now blue instead of gray. This is a roll down panel so you can choose one of your new sec. prof. everytime you're in a town/outpost. If you do all the quest to learn all the sec prof available to you, you'll be able to have them all except for other campaign professions. |

If you go back to the beginning areas in Proph as a different secondary there are some quests you can get to unlock some skills for free. Check Wiki for the exact ones.

Another helpful and informative thread for us newbies...tx folks. A follow-up question along the same line. I am playing a P/W...but am thinking about picking up the Rit secondary...is this a good idea?

I swap my secondary class constantly my necro is always swapping between monk mesmer and ritualist as secondary and my other characters do similar swaps.
It all depends what my necro build is and where I am in the game world. You lose nothing by swapping secondary for instance if your a ranger secondary and have a pet wolf. Then change to say Paragon secondary the pet is there when you change back to ranger as are all the ranger skills you learned. |
